1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to be read by the Service Provider's system and by systems belonging to third parties whose services are used by the Service Provider.
The Service may also use technologies similar to cookies, such as local storage, session storage, pixels and tags. Wherever this Cookie Policy refers to "cookies", that term should be understood as also covering such similar technologies.
2. Categories of cookies used
The Service uses cookies in three categories:
2.1. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the proper operation of the Service, in particular to remember your cookie preferences, to enable you to navigate between subpages, to switch between language versions and to switch between light and dark visual themes. These cookies are stored automatically and do not require your consent, as they are necessary for the provision of a service requested by you (Article 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act / Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC).
2.2. Analytical / statistical cookies
Analytical cookies allow the Service Provider to analyse how the Service is used, to measure performance, to detect errors and to continuously improve the Service. These cookies are installed only after you give your consent through the cookie consent banner. You may withdraw your consent at any time by changing your cookie preferences (see section 5 below).
2.3. Functional / embedded-content cookies
Functional cookies are set by third-party providers of embedded content (such as videos) when you interact with that content within an article. These cookies are installed only after you give your consent through the cookie consent banner. If you do not consent, embedded videos may be displayed in a privacy-enhanced placeholder mode or replaced with a static link.

In connection with the use of services provided by Google Ireland Limited and Vimeo, Inc., your personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States of America. The basis and safeguards for such transfers are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Managing your cookie preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences in two ways:
5.1. Through the cookie consent banner on the Service
When you first visit the Service, a cookie consent banner is displayed allowing you to:
- accept all cookies;
- reject all optional cookies (only strictly necessary cookies will then be installed);
- customise your preferences per category.
You may change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the Service or in this Cookie Policy.
Your consent applies until you withdraw it or until the consent record expires (see section 3, "Cookie-consent preferences"). The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5.2. Through your web browser
Most web browsers allow you to:
- check which cookies are stored on your device;
- delete cookies that have been installed;
- block the installation of new cookies;
- be notified each time a cookie is set.
The exact procedure depends on the browser you are using. Detailed instructions are typically available in the browser's settings or help section.
Please note that disabling or restricting cookies may significantly affect the operation of the Service, in particular it may make it impossible to remember your preferences or to display embedded video content.
6. Personal data
To the extent that cookies and similar technologies allow the Service Provider or third-party providers to identify you, the data collected through them is processed in accordance with the principles set out in the Privacy Policy available at https://affector.ai/privacy-policy. In particular, the Privacy Policy contains information about the legal basis for processing, the recipients of the data, transfers outside the European Economic Area, retention periods and your rights.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
The Service Provider may amend this Cookie Policy in the event of changes in the law, in the technical operation of the Service, or in the scope of the cookies and tools used. The current version will always be published on the Service.
If this Cookie Policy is made available in language versions other than Polish, the Polish-language version is binding in case of any discrepancy.
This Cookie Policy is effective as of 4 June 2026.
